lausanne

Lausanne was soso. We went there because the train tickets were cheap, but there wasn't really much to see. I mean.... churches, churches, and churches. C'est tout.


Church. Well, I managed to hear a real live church pipe-organ being played in one of the churches (since it was a sunday). It was awesome.


Scenery.

The biggest attraction of lausanne would have to be the olympic musee.



The highest pole vault height.


There was a huge exhibition on beijing because Beijing is hosting the next olympics. I was lamenting on how silly it was for us to come all the way to Europe to learn about Beijing.

Last but not least, sun set at the harbour of Ouchy.


The hostel we stayed at in Lausanne easily ranks at the bottom of my hostel lists. No bed sheets, and the heater was switched off in the middle of the night. Silly hostel wanted to save electricity and switched off the heater, thinking we wouldn't know. So, we didn't sleep much because it was incredibly cooold that night.
