Woo. 4 days, 4 villes, and I am down with a cough and flu thanks to the lousy weather. The weather over the weekend in France was insane. We experienced sunshine, snow and hail all in one day at Strasbourg. And I had a very very very bad experience with the french healthcare system yesterday. More on that later.
Dijon!
This picture was taken later on in the noon when it was sunny. The weather was kinda crummy when we reached Dijon. Rain, rain, rain.
Church st benignt
Another church, st jean. The good thing about Dijon is that there is a free shuttle bus circulating around the city center. So you can get up and get off anywhere you want. The bus comes every 6 minutes too. However, the bus route on our map was different from the route the bus took, so we got lost quite a few times.
Place de la Liberation
Palais Des ducs.
Cute drain. We actually spent a lot of time resting and waiting for the rain to stop.
Blink and you will miss it. The owl outside the notre dame. People touch it with their left hands and make wishes because it is regarded as a good luck charm.
One thing very distinct about Dijon is their little streets. The walkways for both cars and passangers are so small.
The rain got very heavy halfway through, so we went to the market in Dijon to seek refuge.
What's going to Dijon without buying moutard (mustard)! :D There were so many kinds of mustard, and we had a tough time choosing which one to buy.
Huge cheese called comte. I initially thought it was a chopping board.
Place Darcy.
the place darcy park. As you can see, good weather!
sunshine!!!! I was delighted.
As my mom and aunt were tired, we checked into the hotel early. I left my things there and went out again to explore more of Dijon.
Place St Bernard
Place de la Republique.
Yea, after that it started to pour again, so I headed back to the hotel.
It started to snow the next day:
Mom and aunt.
Yea, tell me about crazy weather.
