Today I asked my friend if method marks will be awarded in the exam in the event that I make a mistake in calculation in the earlier sections. To my horror, she said probably not.

"But WHY!!!" I asked in horror.

"Because if you make a mistake in a real life engineering problem, merde alors. Your bridge collapses and kills people, no matter how correct your method was in the later part of your calculations."

How true.

Today 2 china girls were gushing about how thin singaporeans are (they saw the new batch of singaporeans here for immersion programme). We very thin meh? During my whole stay here I never got a "you're thin" comment from any french. In fact most french girls are thin here, me being the fatty-bom-bom in my swimming class (just see the amount of water displaced when I dive). Yes I am serious.
