Fête de la Musique

Last Saturday was the longest day in the year, and the first day of summer (solstice).

Went to the Keith Haring exhibition in the noon with Kane. We managed to finish viewing the exhibition quite fast. There is no need to stare at a pop art era picture for too long since they are mostly very in-your-face. :)

I went to Cheekeat's place for dinner.

He cooked chicken with veg, a very typical asian dish.

Herbal chicken soup!!! :D:D

After that, Fx and I went over to Hotel de Ville for the Fête de la Musique!

Look how blue the sky was! It was cloudless and HOT, which was a bad thing because Hotel de Ville was so crowded and smelly.

There were bands everywhere with all kinds of music- Jazz, rock, big band, country.

We bought ice creams.

Big group of people dancing outside the St Jean church.

There were even bands in people's backyards.

Fx and I.

Rock band playing in front of a protestant church.

SIDA pamphlet. SIDA means aids.
