Roanne

After I came back from my 20 days backpacking adventure, I took a train with my friends to Ronan(my friend's friend)'s house.

He lives in Roanne, a little town in Loire Valley. Loire Valley is beside Rhone Alps, where I live.

His house. Loire Valley, to me, is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to, other than Corsica.

HE HAS A SWIMMING POOL! And a piano in the house!! :D:D

His living room. His house is quite big, with many many spare room with spare beds for sleepovers. Amazing. We managed to fit 6 guests in his house, all sleeping in different guest rooms.

Having breakfast beside the pool. From left: Wanqing, Fengxue, Ronan, Me, Wudi and Wangyi.

We went to watch ronan play soccer. He was representing his department. (I still don't understand the concept of Department in these little villes).

Soccer field. IT was super hot and sunny. Why don't we have such nice warm weather in Lyon!!???

Ronan, number 14. The one in blue is the referee. Ronan's team lost 0-1.

Ronan's fans. Kinda hilarious seeing a group of chinese girls cheering for a french dude. Must have been his lucky day.

We later on headed over to take the petit train to see Roanne. Ronan drove us to the train station, and well, FRENCH PEOPLE DRIVE LIKE MANIACS!!! I think I have sat in enough french-driven vehicles to deduce that.

Loire Valley. Beaujolais is also located in Loire. Wineeee!!!

Nice view.

Petit Train.

We passed by hills...

And big lakes. The water was actually glistening!!! IT was really beautiful.

I think that France has lots of beautiful little villages, but you gotta drive to get to these places and stay with people there because there are no hotels around.

Halfway through the train ride, we got down to see a magician.

He did the chinese links trick, which I still cannot decipher how it works.

We ended the day by having dinner on top of the hill, overlooking many other hills.
