OL wins double championship

OL won the coupe de France last night against PSG, making them the double winners! (They are also the ligue 1 champions).

"summertimeeee... and the living is easyy..."

I watched Gershwin's Porgy and Bess last night. I felt like it was a cross between the opera style and american broadway style, though the version I watched seem a little TOO broadway. It received a standing ovation none the less.

I also love the music! Heard some of my favourites like summertime, I Got Plenty o' Nuttin'(the piano reduction was one of the ABRSM exam pieces) and There's a Boat Dat's Leavin' Soon for New York.

However I thought the story was a very poor representation of the blacks, with heavy emphasis negative sterotypes (i know, negative sterotype is an oxymoron) of the blacks.

Went to a sunday fellowship today. It was held in a Colombian woman's house, and it was like a mini International gathering there, with no french. There were spanish speaking south americans and chinese speaking asians. So we had our fellowship in: French, Spanish and Chinese, with some people translating Chinese-Spanish and French-Spanish.

And the sun rises at 6am and sets at 9pm now. Impossible to not get a sun tan.
