bellcour part 2

I went to apply for my BNP paribus account today, and I have to go back again tomorrow because I forgot to bring my proof of residence. Ben was more sway; the BNP paribus people forgot to photocopy one of his documents so he has to go back again tomorrow.

AND I spent the entire night: washing my clothes, changing bedsheets and cleaning my room. I know I should stop crapping about this but, I CANNOT STAND THE DUST!!! URGH! I sweep my room almost twice a week and it's still dusty.

Back to Bellcour. After lunch we continued walking along the streets of bellcour. We started to get excited upon seeing a cluster of shops:

Dior!

HERMES!!!! And cartier. HERMES!!!! I was sooooo tempted to go in and see the hermes berkin bags!!!! But of course, we didn't because we have 0 spending power.

Oh and I checked out the prices for perfums. It was more expensive than in singapore. Chanel's chanel no 5 cost 50euros for the 50ml bottle. I heard it cost 101SGD in sg. When the Chanel lady asked me if I wanted to buy it, I told her no, because its more expensive than in sg.

However, one shop we did go into was the LV one.

Fengxue wanted to get a wallet for her mom or something like that.

This bag got my heart really racing. Why? Because its the only LV bag that I like and it cost 400euros here. The slightly bigger one cost 425euros. I was thinking that I could buy a few back to sg and sell them for a neat profit:D:D:D.

Then again I would have to take into consideration the price depreciation after I handle it. HOHO. Oh and this LV doesn't have sale. :(BTW If you wanna come to europe for shopping (think branded goods), come in Aug or Jan because thats the sale season.

And sales here are not like the lousy ones in sg where they jack up and then reduce the price and say its sales. Here, clothes become dirt cheap during sales. Shirts at H&M were going for as cheap as 3+ euros.

Some cathedral along the road.

We stopped by a chocolat shop along the way

wooooooooooo. I may buy some back for my dad who loves chocolates.

Some bicycle taxi thingy.

France has a very very good VeloV programme whereby you can rent bicycles at any VeloV stop and cycle around. After you are done, you can just park the bike at any other VeloV stop (which are found everywhere). Good for the environment and for health.:)

Ok this is a very adrupt way to end the post but I'm just too tired to upload pictures. Will blog about my sunday trip to park de la tete d'Or (yes I went there again) another day.
